Yarde or Callum Smith, stick to the domestic circuit and make good money, hope Beterbiev wins and gets old in the process??

Yarde is the best light heavyweight in the UK without a doubt he's proved himself albeit in his losses

                Huh?

Yarde’s already been exposed at top level against a washed Kovalev, Beterbiev and a C level Lyndon Arthur. No chance. Azeez vs Yarde would be a good fight though.

Smith? Not a chance in hell, on any planet. Whatsoever.

The bigger problem for him is he is with Sky and Boxxer and they have nobody else for him to fight

he would have been better off sticking with Eddie Hearn because Eddie as basically teamed up with Frank Warren put fights on in Saudi Arabia and he could have fought fighters from both of their stables on a big undercard like Yarde, Smith, Arthur etc etc..

Now there's nobody for him to fight. He's nowhere near good enough for the top fighters. Even waiting around to see if a belt becomes vacant at some point is going to be a long wait because they're tied up with the unification and that could end up being more than one fight

Agreed ... Both Buatsi and Azeez are Britain/Commonwealth level, not World level ... Still makes for good brawls though, just not Saudi worthy brawls ...

Most UK fans don’t even respect Yarde, that’s the thing. He skipped British & European level. Even lost to a guy European level. We’re yet to see if he can even hang with the Smith’s, Johnson’s, Azeez’s, Buatsi’s of the world.

Just off the eye test, you can see Buatsi is a much more refined fighter. Yarde didn’t really have a ameatur career, he picked up boxing late
