ryan is just not at the same level as the top guys but he has more marketability and sells more than them so the promoters have to work his career carefully, they want the money he brings but the problem is fans will of course demand he fight the top guys and the promoters encouraged this by keeping him undefeated.

I think they purposely avoided the rolly fight, that fight is still what 50-50 to me. fans want to see long strings wins and defenses in boxing, its not like UFC, another loss so soon will set him back a bit and set back the promoters cash flow too.
