This is exactly Fury’s plan unfortunately, he wants to leave Usyk absolutely no choice but to drive away in another direction to avoid him at all cost then go with the narrative that Usyk is a bum dosser who never had to guts to face him in the ring which sadly all these Fury casual bum boys will lap up,

Unless the WBC ordersa mandatory, what can you do? Does Usyk want to sit on the shelf for 6 months? he can keep the IBF this way it does not get split if they have a rematch. Heck, why not put Usyk/Hrgovic on the AJ/Ngannou card in March?

He knows Joshua is also fighting Ngannou if there’s any way he can get a Joshua fight and avoid Usyk you know he’s going to do it and the Saudis know that’s the biggest fight to make so they just might go along with it …as of now I’m calling the cut a premeditated plan and he would find a way out if this fight anyway bc he’s done this before, the Joshua fight is to much money to avoid if he has a choice and can get out of the 2 fight Usyk deal , the undisputed belt could still be on the line the Saudis don5 want to risk Usyk vs Hrgovic either bc they could have easily made that the main event .

He's "done this before"? When did he intentionally cut himself to delay a fight? The answer is never, not in the past or now because that's utterly ridiculous. I don't think people would've accepted Hrgovic as a replacement lol, they'd have requested refunds.

Edit: There is footage of it, I guess you're right, he paid this guy to elbow him. https://talksport.com/sport/1735523/...leksandr-usyk/

Because of Fury's cut , the fight will now happen after Ramadan.
Fury has literally said he doesn't care about undisputed on multiple occasions... How many times are you going to let him fool you? Fight isn't happening. How many times does he have to kill it before you wise up?

Forget the IBF. WBC needs to make him champ in recess, and he can get a shot maybe if he actually comes back.

This happens in boxing. It happens in every sport. Athletes get injured and events are postponed. Its not an instagram event or getting upset that your wifi is slow. History takes its time. Ali had to cancel his 2nd fight versus Liston in October 1964 because of a hernia. Just a week or so before the fight. Delayed until early 1965. No one ever mentions that now just the KO of Liston in Round one. Liston was also in peak condition in Oct 1964 but couldnt get back to that level after the postponement. Ali vs Foreman was delayed for a number of months in 1974 because Foreman suffered a cut on his eye..virtually in the same place and similar to Furys. Apparently Foreman was not in great shape at the time and rumours persisted it was deliberately cut by **** Saddler his trainer. No one ever talks about the delay now. Just the eight round KO Ali scored. Fury and Usyk will fight and whatever the result this postponement will be forgotten. There are plenty of other major sports event to watch so I just dont understand all the whinning on this thread. Move on.

Yes , why not Usyk vs Hrgovic. But there is only one problem, now Turki does not want to see Hrgovic fighting Usyk. He did not want Hrgovic on Fury Usyk and Joshua Ngannou undercard and now he is offering to him to fight Anderson, Sanchez, Kabayel, Dubois etc just to keep him of Usyk.
