You know what , I have the Italian Dazn and I haven’t seen one boxing card on it
Not sure what the reason is or if I’m fughed up but can’t seem to catch anything
The Italian cards are similar to the Canadian cards where not the best but they try to be equilibrate
Turns out you catch some pretty good fights

They are trying at least for boxing and also trying to put out a decent product
Yes the Canadian cards have been fun and decent ( not all fights lol )
But at least they are attempting to give the users something of value and like you said , a sports fan in general gets quite a bit of stock
And it ain’t that expensive compared to other appsLeave a comment:

It’s sad that we can’t see boxing on regular tv but then I think regular tv isn’t what it used to be with the nature of apps and streaming. My favourite tv show of the last 5 years (that doesn’t have Star Trek in the title) was ted lasso and I had to have Apple TV for that one. Even my Trek shows are paramount through Amazon. I’m glad Haymon held out for Amazon, though I’m also hoping he gets a deal with Netflix for even more shows but I think this time there is exclusivity for pbcLeave a comment:

$70 for this card is a non-starter for me. Only other fight that is mildly interesting is the Opetaia/Breidis fight. I need to cancel my DAZN, have been pretty underwhelmed with their content recently (for an escalating price). I wish they would show more of the Italian and Spanish cards they once provided.Leave a comment:

Lmao
Well the Loma / Kambo fight is on regular espn
I know eye of the tiger promotions signed a co-promotional deal with the + and hence the Thursday night fights they show
Don’t recall but another outfit just signed with them and it will be on the app
Plus we get the Japan cards which as of late have been very good cards
But I do get what your sayin’Leave a comment:

I also hope ESPN and top rank part ways, perhaps a deal can be struck with Amazon and we can get 2 of the 3 biggest American promotions on one platform. If that happens golden boy will follow suitLeave a comment:

This is the 1st time in my life that I'm rooting against THE LEADER but I do hope they completely give up on boxing in 2024. I was the main one screaming that Showtime would never leave boxing even after I failed to read the tea leaves after HBO left. Now it's crystal clear. Cable Tv does not want boxing anymore. Looks like terrestrial TV only wants to invest in pro and college football and basketball. Time for boxing to tighten up and join forces in the US. Amazon Prime is the way to go. C'mon Bob and Oscar, time to get with the program slick!Leave a comment:

$37 on DAZN in Australia... For context, Fury v Wilder was $50. Tim and Jeff's fights were about $60. Even two rugby players fighting usually goes for about $60.
Good value.
Mind you, I'll be waiting until the last minute to buy it. Hard to commit the dollars to Fury until you see him at the weigh in. Anyone else thinking the same?Leave a comment:

DAZN anonymous in US. Population 340M. Need a higher profile platform partner. Turki meet Bezos. Whatever you think of Amazon - coworkers all talking about that Goddamn Saltburn film on Prime. Amazon has major fcking reachLast edited by VislorTurlough; 02-01-2024, 07:22 PM.Leave a comment:
