Correct me if my understanding of English is wrong, but BY 2025 means he is going to become a world champion within the next 11 months. His next match (third of career?) is going to be in two month, leaving nine month. Being VERY generous lets say he fights four more times afterwards for a total of five fights this year. The chance of Mayweather letting him fight a general ranker let alone a world champ within 5 more fights is impossible.

Depends who holds a title Moton could fight every 6 wks during the climb, really good fighters are good quick so its all possible, and he has the backing to get those fights. Loma fought for a belt 2nd pro fight and won a title in his 3rd, Fenech was WC in his 6th pro fight, Rigondeaux had 7 fights, Saensak Muangsurin won a WT in 3 fights.

Loma, Rigondeaux and Muangsurin all became pro much older and was over 25 yrs old, and even Fenech was 20 yrs old when he won.

But frankly his age or talent isn't even the biggest issue. The issue most of all he is promoted by Mayweather who also promoted Tank Davis, another former talented American boxer who debut as a teenager. Yes, the same Tank Davis that debut at age 18 but waited until his 17th fight when he was age 22.

That's true, but if you have the talent, age is not a barrier to getting a WT in today's soup; not talking about an Inoue here, say a Kambosis-level guy in his weight class scenario.
