You could say the same about Gvozdyk, who incidentally, beat Bivol as an amateur.

Beterbiev fights from a very stable stance, always well-balanced and well-aligned. He doesn't rush, he stalks like Golovkin did and waits for openings. His positioning is excellent and he's a pretty good counterpuncher. Timing beats speed.
Artur has a 100% KO ratio as a pro and he's ended a fair few careers. Joe Smith Jr gave Bivol trouble, even had him doing the chicken dance at one stage.
Beterbiev dealt with Joe, who'd never been down before, inside 2 rounds and he's never fought since.
I get that a lot of people are big on Bivol because he schooled Canelo, but Canelo was a blown up MW fighting a LHW. Bivol is a very good fighter, but Artur knocks him out. No-one at LHW beats him.

Where did you hear Gvozdyk beat Bivol in the amateurs? I saw an interview w Bivol saying they never fought bc he injured his hand prior to them being matched.

it was wo (walk over I believe)which means it counted as an amateur win because bivol wasn't there.

My friend won a fight with that before when the guy no showed the scheduled fight.

right now i pick beterbiev, hes yet to age over night, he can cut off the ring like no other, he starts his pressure from the opening bell, hes not the type to be gun shy or head hunt with bivol. last fight he showed really good defense. he didnt just batter callum, he completely outboxed and outlanded him while doing it.
