If beterbiev good enough he should be able to beat bivol in a 20 x 22 or 22 x 22 as well , should be able to cut off ring and break the distance control. Right? Lol

Bivol sounds like he's just going to keep AB turning and it doesn't matter whether it's in a big ring or small. But it won't allow for much separation. AB is devastating at close quarters and Bivol knows this so he must have an idea what he's going to do. I can't see how a larger ring wouldn't help him and make AB work harder, less clinches, less chance for one to get cut. Any way you look at it I see a great fight. Can't wait. Like both so I won't pick. These guys are like the old time fighters, just don't run their mouths and take care of business in the ring. Respect to both.

U heard it here first. Bivol will win. He's going to bust Beterbiev's ass (pause).

Glove weight and Round length are standard and can't be changed.

They can discuss ring size, but I loved that 18x18 ring. That whole card was exciting.

Kinda crazy that there's not more standardization. Really makes it less of a real sport IMO. It's still clinging pretty tightly to being about prize fighting, and not really a sport IMO.

I don't know that Bivol cares about ring size because his ring awareness and movement doesn't really require a bigger ring. He's still going to try to use blinding combos and lateral movement as he nears the ropes, and Beterbiev is still going to be right on the outside of the pocket no matter how big the ring is. It's not like Beterbiev is bad at walking guys down, after all. If Bivol can't stay off the ropes he's going to lose no matter what ring size there is. And if he can keep Beterbiev on the outside and win the jab battle, he's likely going to win on points.

I think he probably doesn't need to be quite as perfect as Usyk does, but it's still a similar type of battle. And he needs to make it through 9 without taking many of those behind the ear shots.

These guys spar in much smaller boxing rings where they do most of their prep work

It's not that big of a deal unless you are tiny fighter in a huge ring or a huge fighter in a tiny ring.

                    18ft or 20ft won't make much a difference
