Canelo can fight anyone he wants. It's a business. De La Hoya is just passing gas. Benavidez is a whole lotta hype. Bivol would chop Benavidez into mincemeat. GGG would have face-planted Benavidez. Benavidez is custom-made to be knocked-out by Canelo. Only thing that will beat Canelo is age or fighting way outside his weight.

It makes you think why Showtime went out of the boxing scene. Poor promoting by S. Espinoza and A. Hayman. The PBC three fight deal with Canela, who is paying who? Is Showtime / PBC paying Canela or is Canela paying PBC? The WBC and PBC needs to tell Canela that he is fighting Benavidez next. If their fight is competitive and Canela wants another beating. Then PBC can use their third fight in their contract for Canela - Benavidez 2.If not, Canela should be taken to court for breach of contract (3 fights). PBC wants to make money, what are they waiting for.

Yeh it doesn't make sense to let Canelo cherry pick when he's making 100mil for 3 fights.
Benavidez needs to be next and he'll win. Which would benefit PBC, as Canelo will be retired in a year and Benavidez has another 10 yrs presumably.
Then Canelo can pick his last fight after he loses to Benavidez.

What's crazy is Benevidez been Canelo mandatory for 2 years and not one organization has ordered the fight be made or anything, but these same organizations stripped Crawfords for not fighting Enis 30 days after he won the title make it make sense. I don't even agree with the stripping of Charlo for 2 belts, same thing this is crazy.

He lost to Floyd at junior middle, ggg at middle, hasn't fought anyone great at 168 and refuses to fight Benavidez, lost to bivol at 175. Seems like he's beatable at any weight
