Hearn definitely f***ed up selecting Bivol as an opponent, but, to be fair, a lot of us felt that was a winnable fight for Canelo. The bookmakers included.

Canelo selects his opponents. Hearn even specifically said he just makes the fights with the names Canelo gives him. It should be obvious anyway that the cash cow chooses who he fights. He thought Bivol was a beatable cherry pick after he looked mediocre vs Craig Richards.
