No, you just have to actually beat Canelo. Not be in a close fight with him that could go either way.

Well ggg 1 couldn't go either way but the others like Lara, trout, ggg 2 could have and canelo got them all. Not a coincidence or luck. Also the cards are always way inflated in his favor. He beat trout by 1 and judges had it wide for canelo. 1 judge in Lara fight had it wide for canelo, 1 judge in Floyd fight went crazy, all 3 in bivol fight went crazy.

canelo is afraid of david so this fight is the next best one for him, i rather see munguia than overrated charlo. Munguia just outperformed canelo vs a common opponent. Hes got fast hands but hes wreckless, it would be a fun fight.

Absolute worst case is Canelo fights ****** Charlo in May and then Benavides vs munguia happens and those two get caught up in a rematch allowing Canelo to continue to duck and fight bums into 2025
