But credit to the young man, he's a tough fighter and gives it his all.

I'll admit that I don't think much of Munguia, but he has improved over the years. If he beats Ryder in better fashion than some other top guys or looks better, I will give him his props because Ryder has beaten or given some good fighters problems. I don't think he should get a Canelo shot if he beats Ryder not because think I think wether he deserves it at the point but because IMO Benavides should get that shot before you can even consider Munguia.

Has he improved or has his comp been terrible? He Just got a dubious decision over dervychenko moving up in weight and over the last 6 years his comp his been mind bobblingly bad, even tank has a better resume

Nothing wrong with that but they are matching him so soft in order to land that big payday beat down. Gatti landed big fights because of his popularity and style. Everyone knew he had no chance but they are trying to portray Munguia as a real challenge when he's clearly not. Canelo is happy I'm sure
