Theres structural problems far beyond the best fighting the best.
Too many weight divisions.
Too many belts.
Too many power brokers.
Too few trustworthy rankings.
No consistency in belt rules.
Promoters have to much power.
No PED testing/rules that make sense.
No single authority looking out for the sport above all else.
The best fighting the best don't do nothing for all these deeper problems harming the sport & making it less viable for masses of casual fans to give a fook about it on a day to day basis like they do with other sports.Comment

Not a fan of wrestling due to it being fake. Can understand for children how its entertainment though. Hopefully boxing makes a mark on Netflix in the future and helps it become the number one sport in the world.Comment

When one walks away another steps in, boxing will never die there will always be another ready to take it on, look at the Saudis, money talks, there is too much money on the table in boxing, there is no single sporting event that captures the world like a real super fight.Comment
