Naoya Inoue and Luis Nery inch closer to a deal that would provide by far their largest audience to date. "plans are contingent upon the Japanese Boxing Commission (JBC) agreeing to lift Nery’s indefinite suspension" This is the key right here so not getting my hopes up until I see this happen

It's going to be a pleasure watching the monster cave this PED taking weight missing (he basically needs steroids to beat smaller guys) head in.

If they somehow get past all the red tape to make this happen at the Tokyo Dome, this is a serious matchup. Nery being viewed as a villain in Japan for his KOs of Yamanaka then getting busted and banned against Japan's biggest star in Inoue will definitely sell that place out. Inoue fighting Tapales might have got him more accustomed to fighting southpaws, but Nery is a big puncher and a better fighter than Tapales IMO. This should be fireworks.

Not to many more options at 122 tho. It's him and MJ then thats about it

It would be on at like 6-8 AM so wouldn’t interfere with a Canelo card or whoever fights on that date.

Would’ve preferred MJ, I thought he beat Tapales and he’s never been stopped - 122 isn’t great. A shame Figueroa moved up

It got "lost in translation " because the JBC doesn't want Inoue to fight in America.

This fiThis should be in Vegas not Inoue backyard.
