In hindsight, Bivol struggled way too much against a blown up, gassed, injured welterweight like Canelo. I rewatched that fight recently and scored it 8-4.
Hell, Bivol couldn’t even stop rank 15 Lyndon Arthur, meanwhile Beterbiev just showcased an impressive technical performance against rank 3 Callum Smith.

I don’t see how Bivol is gonna win this. The only thing Bivol has going for him is his distance control and volume, but we’ve seen again and again how effective Beterbiev’s pressure is and how he forces guys to defend and not throw as much.

Only boxing noobs think beterbiev is a brawler. He's an extremely good counter puncher. He dropped joe smith with a counter punch and he's a much better body puncher than bivol. People still think the in n out soviet style can beat beterbiev. They'll be proven wrong.

So it's official? You got this champ. Keeping it classy unlike that inferior complex suffering Beterbiev. Lol

Cant wait for Bivol v Beterbiev unification.
I don't agree with that. Canelo gets hit every bit as much as Beterbiev and his offense is not any more versatile.

                Gvodzyk resembles Bivol
Only difference is Bivol does everything better than Gvodzyk
The fight with Beterbiev will finish just like the Gvodzyk fight
Bivol won’t be able to keep Artur off him and once he feels the power , especially the body shots , he will crumble just like a cookie
                And Still, remember those words

And did not have a real camp, like 4 weeks after a difficult fight with Yarde and like 12,000 stipulations.

Canelo still aiming to fight May 5th? cause its almost February and there is no hint of a opponent.

8 weeks is about the norm for a good training camp so that pushes it out to ~April still time i suppose but cutting it close.

He doesn't have the elusiveness of a few years ago but he knows how to ride punches much better than Beterbiev.
