Maybe but turning his back on Canelo can be reward in itself

I have not always appreciated the tactics of Canelo's team with negotiations and such. I have also read the argument plenty of times that he has fought people at certain times in their career when they are not at their peak. That said, he has a fan friendly style, stays in the pocket, has fought a ton of good people, and has given us some fantastic fights. It surprises me that so many people hate him so much considering all of this.
That hate is just not healthy folks

Bivol wanting the challenge at 168 should had been more of an incentive to fight of Canelo but he didn't bite.
Exactly! We know what it was, Canelo faked wanting the rematch to try to save face, but he didn't want any part of another fight with Bivol at 175, or at 168.
He had to know in his heart that he was going to get humiliated even worse the second time around by the much better boxer, who can out punch him as well.

Bivol will be a harder task for Beterbiev, no doubt ... But he will bend, fold and submit like all the others... That's called Darwinism (or natural selection for the illiterates) ...

              I totally agree
There is no doubt in my mind
12 rounds are long to be just boxing and moving let alone someone like Beterbiev pressuring you
              King Artur late KO

Then no more leverage etc etc
I can't either, and was on record when everyone was saying it was Canelo's idea that he would never risk fighting Bivol at 168. But Bivol was also apparently prepared to take him on at a catchweight so he wouldn't have to risk his belts, and Canelo wouldn't budge on that. That's apparently Bivol being difficult.

There is a guy here with an sig that reminds all of what happened. I still remember them thinking he could "beat Superman and then after the fight , he is just tiny...."

If canelo came calling tomorrow bivol would be jumping for joy. He had an opportunity to make an easy 10+ mil in the rematch. But he thought canelo would fold in negotiations and he was wrong. Now he prolly didn't even make 1 million the entire year and is now backed into a corner to fight beterbiev.

This is what happens when you let ****** people get into your ear and make you believe you're bigger than you are. If he ends up losing to beterbiev he's gonna regret that decision for the rest of his life. Cause then he'll really never get that canelo rematch. Only chance he has if he beats beterbiev. But right now that's not looking likely for him.
That nobody did not Ko Ginger because he was thinking about a rematch, he should've let Ginger win a couple of rounds just to give him some false self confidence.

Ginger knows Bivol will kill him if he ever fights him again, lol. Go eat that one.

I don’t recall Bivol saying cw but still
Saying Bivol is difficult is just the easy way out , it doesn’t revolve around the reality of things
Notice how usually when there is a Canelo thread you get the usual nuthuggers but not when it comes to this discussion
