BoxingScene.com was advised that a deal has been reached in principle for a rematch between Juan Diaz and Paulie Malignaggi. The fight will take place on December 12, on HBO, at an agreed upon catch-weight of 139-pounds - and a 20-foot ring too. In August, Diaz won a controversial unanimous decision over Malignaggi when they fought in Diaz's hometown of Houston, Texas. I've heard the rematch may take place in Atlantic City or Las Vegas. Don't want to see this rematch. I don't know why Diaz's fat ass wants to contend with JWW's. The Lightweight division is stacked with a ton of exciting fighters. His rematch with Paulie will be more boring than the first fight because Paulie will have room to run around.

Kick who's ass again? That was a close fight with many people giving it to Paulie. Diaz is way overrated and his best days are past him...let's not make him out to be something he is not.

First of all Why in the **** they will air a Victor Ortiz fight, but they wont air the Sergio Martinez fight?

Martinez is the WBC champ and Ortiz just quitted. That doesnt make any justice to me.


And about the fight itself, I dont think Paulie have the desire to beat Diaz anymore. After all he went through in the first fight, with traning, being weight drain, getting srewed with neotiations and getting robbed I think he is mentally tire and he wont give a **** if he wins or not.

If he omes in top shape and with the same hunger as the first fight, he wins a 116-112 UD!!!!!

weight drained? wtf? in 6 of his last 7 fight he weighed in below 140. he weighed in at 138.5 for the diaz fight, so again i ask...wtf?
