They said Jonas is 5'8" but it showed that she's 5'6" ....Why is there such a disparity between what they said and what is written??!!

It could be a with shoes/without shoes thing.

For example, Denver Nuggets guard Collin Gillespie is sometimes listed at 6'1" and sometimes at 6'3". This is because, at the NBA combine when they measured his height, he measured 6'1.5" barefoot and 6'2.75" in his basketball shoes.
