  • Alvarez/Charlo being reported for Cinco weekend '24

Bunch of articles popping up all over claiming it's a done deal. The most legit article I just read is from espn en espaņol sports writer Benardo Pilati.

this is some bulls.hit!!! But i ****in called it way back when Mell somehow was picked. I said he loses then Mall gets the revenge fight. This is weak af.

Can you imagine if the WBC lets Charlo hang on to that belt until May...

The only good thing I can see happening here is they finally strip Mall of his 160 belt & make Adames a full belt holder.

I give zero fooks about this fight.

Garbage fight. And theyll hype the “Brother getting revenge” angle. Typical and Corny.

            Not particularly interested

Alvarez and Benavidez are the clear 1 and 2 in the division and are miles above everyone else

It’s the only fight to make.

This means nothing. Most internet "news", especially when it comes to boxing which has few real journalists covering it, is derivative. Each outlet repeats the rumour so they can share in the clicks and ad revenue.

He's also reported as fighting Munguia in May, he's not going to fight them both on the same night.

Pilati is a good sports writer from espn.

Look on the bright side. They can add to the hype with Canelo bringing up Charlo getting punk slapped by Plant, who he stopped.
