I agree, I don't think Nngannou should be inline for a shot at undisputed.

However, PBC kept the WW division in house for years.

    TopRank were no better.

Eddie made sure anyone fighting Joshua was either promoted/co promoted by Matchroom before facing AJ and/or then throws in a rematch clause just to be safe which covers the ones he couldn't sign like Ruiz.

They're all working with the same business model and it stops so many fight happening.

At least the Saudis are picking fights regardless of which stable the fighters come from.

I get it but it’s still boxer vs boxer to a boxing promoter
Thisis just like picking the flavour of the month
Imagine a 1-1 fighter , mma guy fighting for the prestigious unified heavyweight championship
What does that say about the guys working their azz off to get to that pinnacle
Prestige is gone and so will beman people who dreamed of achieving that pinnacle , lmo

That's a shame. The thing is it's only the Brits that care about the Warren v Hearn rivalry. Sure I read somewhere about his excellency considering investing in shows outside of the kingdom so maybe their will be a global power grab at some point

Yeah they are but it's still heavily focused around the Matchroom-Queensberry axis. It already feels like fighters are being recycled rather than new ones given a shot. It's fine to make the fights with the biggest stars but there has to be a route for the best fighters to still get a chance. Sometimes the biggest aren't the best....

Lets see what they come up with before we get too excited, something has got to happen as there's more avoiding fights than ever, greedy promoters and already multi millionaire boxers taking the piss.

Thats the thing tho. There are x number of boxing fans & x times 10 or 20 of ppl who'll watch boxing if its done better (better fights, more entertaining fights, less belt bs, more sensible decisions, less overall bs & more sh^t they like). So I'm for pissing off more of these old grumpy boxing heads who find something to be mad about each week who still watch week after week while trying to attract the ppl who could become boxing fans or become boxing fans again if boxing did some new sh^t.

I think the crossover sh^t ultimately will bring more ppl to boxing than it'll drive away. Sh^t right now I think the guy bringing more ppl to boxing than Shakur, Tank, AJ & Canelo combined is some goofy mfer from YT named Jake Paul.

The people that will come over , the non boxing fans , imo. , will be fly by nights
They won’t stick boxing fans and will only be there for novelty fights
That’s my assessment having followed boxing for a while and seen these guys come and go
You had the May fans , Pac fans , where are they now ?
Those two attracted the casuals but did they stick around ?
Nope , most of them left and when they did come it was only for the finale
Just my two cents and opinion

I honestly can’t think of 5 good fights that can be put together between these two stables. The best bet would be at heavyweight and you know they aren't doing Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua.
I think that is exactly what they are doing.

Fury, win or lose vs Usyk vs winner of Francis and AJ - colossal in the UK and worldwide (except States and Canada)
