The only reason Khan got hype was because the Brits were desperate for a star after Lewis retired and Hamed got embarrassed by Barrera.

Khan’s hand speed and activity would have been a long night for Floyd. There is a reason he chose Maidana over Khan despite fans overwhelmingly voting for Khan as his next opponent. The ugly truth is that Khan or any other fighter would never win a decision over Floyd in Vegas. Khan wouldn’t be able to knock him out and Floyd’s guardian angels would make sure the score cards added up in his favor whether he deserved it or not.

Let's break it down by skill
            Hand speed: Floyd
            Foot speed: Floyd
            Defense: Floyd
            Punch resistance: Floyd
            Punching power: Floyd
            Accuracy: Floyd
            Technique: Floyd

            Hmm, tough call.

''Swift'' was not impressed with Khan's hand speed.
                  Neither would May have been.

Popularity contests aside, those Maidana fights were much tougher than anything Khan could have offered.
I mean, May took Young Nelo to school
You mean to tell me Khan would have done better ?

                  It's a shame Khan's rep never materialized.

Khan would have given him a tough first few rounds but eventually Floyd times him up and drops him.

Shame it didn’t happen as it probably would have been one of Floyd’s more entertaining fights at 147.
