Cool, doesn't change the fact that Bivol was still the underdog, by a decent margin. Against Ramirez, that wasn't the case. So what if random casuals thought Zurdo would win. Hardly anybody legit, if anyone, was confidently picking him to win.Comment

Welterweight. Lightweight, Heavyweight. There’s 3 more for you
It’s no different to any other division? Name me another division with an array of "top tier" names as you say? with the exception of Super Lightweight or maybe Super Middleweight there isn't any. All those names you mentioned were either respectable amateurs, regional champions or world champions - Beterbiev wiped them all out leaving 4 of the 5 fighters faces' covered in blood. what more do you want?
Heck, even Super Featherweight & Featherweight are better than light heavy.Comment

Never claimed Beterbiev was weak, I said it’s a weak division - I could name 7/8 divisions stronger. Gvozdyk was a good fighter…but his claim to fame was a 41 year old Stevenson. Not sure why some people dislike the truth..Comment

Package of Gvodyzk, Bivol, Smith, Yarde etc is definitely better than Canelo’s run, I’d agree with you. Plant, Saunders were never elite.
This package of guys is better than the lames (175 Smith > 168 version) Canelo beat for undisputed at 168. You could also say Crawford at 140 but Crawford is folding everyone at 147. Very good package of fights for Beterbiev and he runs through all the guys Bivol fought. Winner of Bivol and Beterbiev should be #2 behind Crawford. I don't rate little fighters moving up 4 lbsComment

Mess, you can't be taking 4 days to respond. I forgot what the hell we were talking about and had to go back and read the original comments.
That's cool if you feel that way, but Gvozdyk was an accomplished amateur and did retire the lineal champ in dramatic fashion. Older, yes, but still dangerous. LHW's not the best, but it's not the worst. Benavidez is due to move up soon so that'll be fun.Comment
