Oleksandr Uysk is a Olympic Champion, Uysk has a amateur record of 350 fights, 335 wins with just 15 loses.

Tyson Fury's highest achievement as a amateur was fighting David Price and losing 'That is no disrespect, but yes that is Fury's highest known achievement losing over the distance vs the then commonwealth Bronze Medalist David Price'.

Then we move into the professional ranks? Oleksandr Usyk is a former Undisputed Cruiser weight World Champion, current WBO, WBA, IBF AND IBO World Heavyweight Champion.

Uysk has skill for skill fought at a higher level than Fury, for the majority of his boxing career 'Even at Heavyweight, Usyk recent fights have all been at a higher level than Tyson Fury's'.

Tyson Fury has not fought at a elite level skill for skill, since his fight vs Wladimir Kiltschko 'And he has barely fought at World level outside of those fights'.

Deontay Wilder was a elite level challenge, in terms of historical magnitude 'But no boxing purist has ever rated Wilder skill for skill, as a elite level boxer'.

Note: One training camp, and sparring a few up and coming contenders 'That may turn out to ether be nothing much, or something. That is not really going to turn around years of not really fighting at a level for Tyson Fury'.

I don't even think Tyson Fury relies on sparring partners to gauge his form 'I have always considered Fury to be a natural fighter. If Fury is in condition, then I believe he is the type of fighter to benefit more from the actual fight night'.

That is why I believe, although Fury's recent fight vs Ngannou was not great 'The positives are that, 3 months before February 17th? Fury was already in fight condition'.

This may be a rare situation for Tyson Fury to be in 'That is why, I think Fury will be well prepared for Uysk'.

When David Haye fought and beat Jean-Marc Mormeck, he almost immediate jumped back into training camp for his fight vs Enzo Maccarinelli 'David Haye and Adam Booth both regard that fight, as one of Haye's best ever training camps and fight night condition'.

Tyson Fury issue for me, is not whether he can get in condition 'It is whether skill for skill, he is actually great as his hardcore fans believe'.

Sparring partners are not going to turn around years of not competing at World and Elite level consistently etc.

As boxing fans, we can tell when a fighter keeps his guard hand too low or is too late to roll with a punch.
We can tell a bum from a legit opponent.

I'm sure Team Usyk know what they're doing.

I'm impressed with Fury's sparring partners, Opetaia & Itauma

newsflash, when the two top guys in a division go against each other, their sparring partners are going to be less talented than their opponent. That is just a fact of life.

IDK who else he is supposed to get that is 6'7 or higher to mimic fury.

Usyk was knocked out by a body shot and saved by the ref. this hasnt happened to Tyson

but i also have my concerns with fury. he looked like crap with Ngannou and was supposed to fight Usyk like 8 weeks later, he would have not been peak for Usyk based on what we saw.

I think fury should work on his stamina and come in at a lower weight, 250-260 for Usyk. He already has a weight advantage, he doesnt have to exaggerated it and come in as a fat *** at 270+

Usyk has already proven he can beat bigger fighters, ask AJ. I trust Usyk's camp knows what they are doing and preparing to the best of their ability. He's not taking Fury lightly, and if Fury is smart, he won't be taking Usyk lightly like he did with Nagonnou.

I am surprised. For the biggest, most important, and probably hardest fight of his life. You'd think he would get top quality sparring partners in. Especially with the purse he's getting, he can afford almost anyone.

But in saying that I trust Usyk, he knows what he's doing. I've never paid any attention or seen who he's sparred before fights previously. Does he usually choose weak sparring partners perhaps?

Nope. Fury 's best amateur achievements were > World Junior Championships Bronze medalist, European Junior championships Silver medalist, and Senior English ABA champ aged just 20, which he then turned pro straight after.

Losing to Price at a very young age is nothing to be ashamed of, Price was a top amateur who went on to win Olympic bronze.

Meanwhile fury is sparring Opetaia, moses Itauma and David Nykia all young, unbeaten, hungry and extremely fast fighters

None of Fury's partners are as skilled as Usyk but if argue that all of them are faster, and two of them definatley hit harder.

Usyk's partners aren't better than fury in any department.
It doesn't matter, your not teaching Ursk to fight at this stage of his career, youre conditioning him to fight a giant, he will also spar or move around with smaller faster guys, its just tuning a race car for a certain track, you only need similarities in part from your sparing partners because nobody is the guy your facing but him, so you create different elements of him with different guys, an example could be an average guy that has lets say a great jab and so he is used for that because he is also 6.9, or he may move like Tyson but is much smaller so he can be of benefit, training is science.
