Ward was really something at 168 - not so much at 175 - Sullivan Barrera and Crusher at 175 if I remember right

Ward gets pieced up. there's a reason he's jab dominant and not fluid with combos. his right hand is too slow.

Next you'll be saying Hopkins wasn't dirty, Salido didn't land any low blows on Loma or Holyfield and Warrington aren't known for their use of the head as just a few examples...

Beterbeiv is a prolific rabbit puncher just like Wilder, Fury and many others...

Ward likes to get inside and grapple, I dont see anyone who comes forward beating Beterbiev, that is what he wants. Beterbiev is strong as hell too, he will stop Ward, if ward ducks low beterbiev wont miss he will just continue the trajectory of his looping punch and hit him behind the ear.

I expect drama from crybaby ward, pulling a hopkins, rolling around on the canvas trying to get a DQ win from the ref.

Need someone like prime Roy. Someone fast with good footwork and elusive. First step is to not take many punches from beterbiev and use your speed advantages to outland him. Which is coincidentally the same traits that gives Bivol a good chance. Even prime Roy though lost 4 rounds or so to hopkins who could get him on ropes from time to time and we saw some of his weaknesses there that later were his downfall when he was older and slower.

Beterbiev is good at cutting off the ring too, you get someone like calzaghe slapping him, what happens when the work rate isnt enough to keep beterbiev away and he closes the distance?

But ............ Is Andre Ward the most over-rated 175 champion ever? I don't think he is out-wrestling Beterbiev - he might have been able to out-box Bivol but I wouldn't put any money on it.

yeah bivol is faster with both hands and footwork than ward. ward will be pretty desperate trying to catch him and wrestle him. And when he knows he is losing he will resort to ball punching bivol like he did with kovalev.

              Bruh

              He's fought a mere 98 rds !!!!
His opposition has not been a murderers row.
And who stopped him from becoming pro sooner ?!?!?

No wear and tear will keep a fighter nice and fresh.
Until they face a legit opponent that is.
Then the whole ''he was shot'' excuse is used

The bookmakers have Bertebiev and Bivol at exactly even odds. They cannot seperate them.

This despite Bertebiev getting insane hype for knocking out Yarde and Callum Smith.

Bivol is a massive step up in boxing pedigree for Bertebiev so let's see if he can get past that first before we start putting him at the top of the ATG pile, please.
