I also compared his punching power to Berlanga's and Andrade's. And it's not just about power, Mbilli completely destroyed a fighter who was in a competitive fight against Zach Parker and he made him quit. And like I said he's managed to be a world class amateur despite his poor defense by overwhelming his opponents with punches. His defense is a problem for him, his offense is a problem for his opponents.

Mbilli doesn't have concussive power or one punch ko power, but he does have power and is definitely not pillow-fisted, no fighter with 22 KOs in 26 fights against decent opposition is. Murdock was tough as nails, Mbilli couldn't drop him but he beat him into sumbission.

Not sure if you’ve seen him fight often , that fight with the Aussie I think he was overwhelmed
The big stage , thinking he had to prove something for the Canelo sweepstakes etc etc
Now don’t get me wrong he is flawed as fugh but better than what he showed on Saturday
Headhunting and trying to woo those who have a say was not his better fit
Watch the Gongora fight and see the difference

I have. I know him since the amateurs.

I agree with you, and his pre-fight interviews confirm your impression. He was saying that he's looking for the knockout, that he feels like he needs to impress everytime and create some buzz to get the big fights. That's why he called out Canelo in his post-fight interview.

Mbilli is ranked #1 with the WBA and could ask them to order a fight against WBA “regular” champion David Morrell.

But I sense no urgency on his part to do that.

How’s that the case of the wba order it? Are we STILL on this insane “pbc fights only in house” thing with so many pbc fighters having done the opposite?

I don’t see how any of those are anywhere near “great.” His immediate best option is against Morrell

Not accurate at all, and a ****** take to boot. Do just you really not have any idea what you're looking at?

Per WBA rules, he would have been offered the Morrell fight before at least twice, and he could always request it be ordered... Yet none of that has happened, and that's because Morrell knocks him out if they fight.
