If all these boxers and managers and promoters were literally living paycheck to paycheck, we would not have these part time fighters. You just never heard of these things to the extent we have been hearing lately.......10-15 years or more ago.

Definitely. I'm all for fighters getting paid this is a hard gruelling sport so get you're money why you can but the fact these guys are being paid so much for gimmie fights and then sidelined for well over a year longer in some cases. It just slows the divisions down and they dont move because the middleweight historically has been a great division but atm it's in the wilderness with no real good fights out there to be made. But back in the day champions where fighting 10 round non title fights in-between title defenses because they had to keep fighting regularly to get paid.Last edited by Boxing2695; 01-16-2024, 07:12 PM.Comment

It been a rough time to be a PBC fighter, so many guys sat on the shelf in 2023 & here we are in 2024 and no upcoming dates announced for the year. All we got was the announcement that they partnered with Amazon Prime. Starting to wonder if the deal fell thru. How do you announce a partnership with no datesComment

Meaning, they all agreed to terms. Don't have idea why it got canceled.
Only thing I remember about Zerafa is his fight with Quillin, which was many years ago. (I'm not going to search on Google at this point just to make it more personal.) It was a total mismatch, Zerafa, if I remember correctly was taken on a stretcher, I might be wrong... So it wasn't a pleasant first impression of him...Then saw glimpses of his relatively recent 2 fights with Jeff Horn, which were competitive...Comment
