Hopefully with the title they will be more opportunities to secure meaningful fights. He was a high risk low reward fighter that has been mismanaged.
Name the fighters who avoided or who is avoiding Jaron "Boots" Ennis...

Look, let's stop repeating this high-risk, low-reward thing because it's not making any sense when some fighters have expressed interest in fighting him. There's Barrios, Stanionis, Cobbs, Benn. If he got lots of choices other than those names, then it's okay to ignore them, but he shouldn't be this inactive.

It should now be made clear this being avoided thing is a complete farce. It's the exact opposite. How many fighters are now calling out or have expressed interest in fighting Jaron "Boots" Ennis so far? Is the being avoided narrative a total hoax for Ennis? GGG got crucified for keeping himself busy and was made accountable for every fight he made starting from the his very first pro fight. At least the being avoided part was genuine, whether you agree or not.
Where was Ennis when Kavaliuskas was undefeated? Crawford started at 135 and Mean Machine Kavaliuskas was his 4th fight at welterweight. Who did Ennis fought at around the same time? An unranked guy named Demian Daniel Fernandez.
Even now Ennis still won't look at Kavaliuskas to challenge himself. He had no problem fighting Dulorme, yet he has problem fighting guys like Kavaliauskas or Avanesyan.Comment

Exactly right. You can't go on chanting the same high-risk, low-reward mantra when Ennis himself is using the same method of rejecting fights. Kavaliuskas, Avanesyan, Benn are high risk, therefore avoid them like plague. Yet Ortiz at 23 fought Kavaliuskas with no big deal, no fanfare, he fought him, then went on to fight Avanesyan, who backed out of the fight. Stanionis vs Ortiz with combined 37 bouts agreed to fight each other. They are high risk low reward to each other, yet they agreed to fight.Look, let's stop repeating this high-risk, low-reward thing because it's not making any sense when some fighters have expressed interest in fighting him. Ennis' case is even worse. He even deems Cobbs as high risk, thus don't want any part of it.Comment

Mind you , mean machine is a few years older but imo , it still would be a good fight for Boots and a good test for himself and the fansIt should now be made clear this being avoided thing is a complete farce. It's the exact opposite.

That is now, before little wanted to fight him. He has no real fanbase.Look, let's stop repeating this high-risk, low-reward thing because it's not making any sense when some fighters have expressed interest in fighting him. I think he be turning down fights tbh. Obviously guys like Thurman ducked him and Spence and Crawford had bigger fish to fry and he offered nothingComment
-
There's no before. 32 fighters fought him.
Thurman ducks everybody. He didn't fight Brook, Spence, Crawford, even Claressa Shields want him. So there's nothing much to brag about when talking about Thurman ducking.

If he was a Rolly, Munguia or Garcia they would be a long line ready to fight him. He passes the eyeball test and is yet unknown he if swim or drowns at the big stage.
Like I mentioned before, he is mismanaged and should had a big time promotional company behind him, de doesn't so he doesn't get the exposure or the meaningful fights to propel him.
I just want to see the dude fight someone with a name already.Comment
