Comments Thread For: Jason Moloney: When The Fight Was On the Line, I Showed How Bad I Wanted It

Jason Moloney wouldn't have it any other way. The first Fight of the Year candidate was produced in Moloney's thrilling twelve-round, majority decision win over California's Saul Sanchez. Moloney was pushed to the limit by the first-time challenger to make the first defense of his IBF bantamweight title this past Saturday at Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Canada.

That was one good entertaining fight, would not mind seeing it again or watching both fighters in separate bouts.

It has been a while I watch a fight that both guys wanted it so bad. You can actually could see the passion and resiliency from both guys.

yea great fight and Malony was fortunate to walk away with the win ---> close very close i had it for Sanchez that was my gut that it was back and forth with a lotta rounds on the edge. Not a steal but still very lucky he got the nod on two cards i beleive a draw would not have been out of line either. Let them have a fight or two and meet up again It can wait..

The Moloney brothers have grit for days. Underrated skills too. Crazy that posters on here call them bums. The main thing they're lacking is power, IMO.

Moloney was lucky to get the decision against Sanchez.

Maybe so. Watching real time, I thought he edged most of the rounds after 4-5, landing the better and cleaner punches. I know some of the media guys scoring it had it as wide as 117-111 in his favor. Either way it was a fun scrap.

Moloney will get a lot of confidence from this win.
