Comments Thread For: John Ryder on Munguia: I Hope The Fight is Judged Fairly, That's All I Can Ask For

Should Jaime pull off the win, I think Ryder is a great opponent to get him ready for canelo, not so much in skill or boxing style but physically they seem to be quiet similar. Short stocky fellows.

If Canelo hasn't taken years off his career then it's a fight Ryder can win for sure. Can't wait.

The judging won't be fair, but at the same time, Ryder was fortunate to beat Daniel Jacobs on the cards. But if we look further back, Ryder was unlucky not to get the decision over Callum Smith.

Ultimately, unless changes are made to how fights are scored/judged, judging is always going to be an issue.

No amount of hope might spare you from the judges awarding the fight to Munguia.
You must go into the fight with the mindset that you're going to have to knock Munguia out in order to win.

At least the fight isn't in Las Vegas. Ryder would have to knock Munguia out to get a draw there!

it wont be fair but there is nothing you can do about it. mungia is the a-side guy and will win. hes already been given a couple gift decisions.
