Bivol beats Beterbiev. here is why

    1. younger
    2. faster
    3. better defense
    4. better distance control
    5. insane cardio
    6. better foot work

Sure. I expect Beterbiev will try to walk him down, that is his only chance. But he will get countered the whole night when he does that.

Bivol will not have to deal with some insane Beterbiev`s pressure, because the things I listed will prevent Beterbiev from his pressure.

If Beterbiev enforces things and pushes things too far, he will drop on his ass pretty soon.

Saudis won't give him a 22-foot ring, so there are going to be extended periods, as with the Canelo fight, he will have to fight off of the ropes. The big difference is that Beterbiev wouldn't be throwing just one clubbing, loaded punch like Canelo. He'll touch Bivol anywhere; there is an opening, a body, around the guard (behind the ear, which people keep crying is illegal), and that pile-driving jab if Bivol leaves the center open on the high guard. This fight is no different than Spence vs. Crawford. He would have done a demo job on Bivol in 2019. Is there enough fall where Bivol can compensate, balance the fight for 12, and take it on the cards? I expect him to be up 3-1 or 4-2 at the midpoint. Legs and combos will be fresh, and he will be doing a lot of circling, coming in and out with quick combos, which Beterbiev will catch a lot with his gloves (underrated high guard).

I think Beterbiev wins by KO.

If The Nail touched Bivol, Beterbiev for sure is gonna touch Bivol & idk that Bivol will deal as well with Beterbiev's power & the Subriel Matias-like soul taking ability of his shots. Some of these guys got power that lowers your health bar down rd after rd. I think Beterbiev is one of those types.

That said Bivol doesn't take risks & does basic point fighting to win rds to get decisions. Thats his whole MO & it has worked great against a guy as high level as Alvarez. So it might just work again, but I kinda think Beterbiev is better at 175 than Alvarez is & ik Beterbiev's power is on a whole other level than Alvarez.

To me this is gonna be a Beterbiev KO, Bivol Dec fight. If it goes 12 Bivol wins, if it doesn't Bivol got KO'd. Idk that I got a strong lean either way, but my rooting interest is for Beterbiev.

Why not? What was the last two Saudi show ring sizes???

But yea I agree the more Bivol is on the ropes vs a guy like Beterbiev the wider Beterbiev's path to victory gets. So a smaller ring is a plus for Beterbiev.

agree that smaller ring benefits beterbiev

beterbiev has good defense when he wants to. Bivol doesnt have much power, beterbiev can take some degree of risk to land his own, he isnt a wild sloppy guy but he knows he has to take some risks to apply his pressure, hes got a good jab too and sets up his shots. I pick him as the slight favorite. Bivol was rocked by Joe smith, we seen him hurt before its not like he is iron chinned. He can win but he has to fight, not necessarily perfect, but make very few mistakes.

Beterbiev all his shots are hard, so there is no one shot for guys to look out to avoid.

If they fight in Saudi, advantage Beterbiev because of his religion. That would be a massive fight in ****** history.

so back head shots all night

Bivol is going to pitty patty his way out of there for twelve rounds, trying to stink it out and get the bag.

Yeah, but how's he gonna deal with the onslaught of rabbit punches at all distances?

because we know they're coming, they're an integral part of Beterbiev's arsenal
