Boots be acting entitled like he beat someone for the belt. Cobb's wants to fight him and has said it multiple times. If he not a problem clean him up now.

Boots would just be relegated to fighting once a year, if you're even lucky, the way I look at it. His team led by his dad is way too finicky in choosing fights for him. They wouldn't even consider stay-busy fights like Cobbs as if they got lots of options. They won't consider Benn, Kavaliauskas, Avanesyan, Santillan, etc. I'm sure Tim Tzsyu was even offered. I don't really see anything of substance for him for the next few years. Stanionis, who many agree would be a viable fight for him, had long periods of availability, yet Ennis' team wasn't able to secure such fight. And now Stanionis needs tuneups first. We also see no effort in pushing for the Crawford fight. Won't even reach out to BLK to check if the offer can still be revived. Easy to call out anybody as his own fans say. Action is lacking.Comment

Boots Ennis is currently age 26 and has a 31-0 record which seems like he fights a lot...except for the fact that 22 of those fights came in his first three years of boxing (2016-2018) when he was fighting literal no names every other month. In the past three years he has fought FIVE times between age 23-26 which normally is the time when even champions fight more often than that.
Is Blair Cobbs going to be a great opponent for Ennis? Nope, he will easily finish him. However is Blair Cobbs going to be a better stay busy fight than no fight? Certainly yes. The dumbest thing he can do is to wait for the moment that will not come when Crawford suddenly decides that he was going to fight Boots and decides to fight next month. Unfortunately, that is what he will likely end up doing.Comment
