Yeah, after he beat Kovalev they all were on a cloud. He was going to beat the HW champion of the world, nobody was better than him, the greatest of all time, and then reality came crashing down and he was old at 31yo, he was too small, too many grueling fights, by the way I couldn't remember one grueling fight, he was schooled by Lara and floyd and took some damage against ggg, that was all, all others were handpicked opponents to make him look invincible including his tour of British. To be honest, I think Canelo would have a better chance of winning against Beterbiev than he would Bivol. That’s not to diminish Artur; it’s just that Canelo has serious problems with distance boxers with quick feet (Bivol), and Beterbiev isn’t exactly known for that. Canelo loves inside fighting and would land some good counters. And I will argue he has the better defensive acumen. But Beterbiev is stronger and smarter and would most likely be the first to crack Saul’s mythical chin.
