Although I don't think what he posted was racist.
I do remember the incident with Benavidez.

I've ran into Crawford before and know people who've been around him.

    The guy's just an a××hole.

This deserves a YouTube episode. We need to talk about this.

And yes, it is racist, because (A) it’s not true, (B) it’s too broad and (C) he’s acting like it applies to everyone of Asian descent.

There are people of several races living in Asia, so which one is "Asian"? I know that in some countries using "Mongoloid" is an insult, but this is not always the case. It is true that some of them "Mongoloid" (without any insult intended) sound like they are arguing when they talk, but that is their culture, their manners. If similar is said by a white for blacks it would have been claimed as racist, like "all the black people are eating KFC, but not McDonald's". So yeah, one must be more careful with such statements.

Sort of thing you might say to your mates but not put on social media.

When Americans refer to "Asian" they tend to be referring to those from the south-east of asia, whereas in Britain we tend to mean people from the south-west. I think it's because we have more of each people in our respective countries.

Nah. It's all about physical appearance. Most Americans, which include prominent politicians, can't even locate countries on the map. If he looks like or some semblance of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, he's Asian. In the UK people of Indian/Pakistani descent sometimes refer to themselves as south Asians.
