Fury had no game plan for Ngannou and it backfired .Joshua under Ben will have and I suspect it will be very much like Fury v Wilder one , boxing , as an above post rightly said , but not greedy . It will be interesting though to see if Ngannou can land a 'strike' and to see Joshua's reaction , which has never been great.

Nngannou will be better than last time but it won't be enough. Joshua is far more cautious courtesy of Andy Ruiz.

He will engage when he sees an opportunity and be on his bike when/if it gets uncomfortable.

No disrespect to Francis but I can see this being pretty one-sided.

This is so weird, can see it going either way.

First is that we can assume Fury came in sloppy and untrained completely underestimating Francis. Well cat is out of the bag now that Francis can actually box competitively with the heavyweight champ, so AJ is not going to underestimate him. AJ also doesnt balloon up inbetween fights and far as we know isnt a sloppy drunk/coke head like Fury, so he will come prepared in great physical condition.

We also seen AJ freeze up before and all the pressure is on him here. If Francis gets KTFO oh well he was a 38 year old cage fighter and he still gets paid, there is no embarrassment for him, he still tried. AJ is expected to win and he has additional pressure on him because he is going to want to look "better" than Fury did, whether that means he takes chances, gets frozen up in the ring, or does the smart thing and just sticks and moves to a solid convincing UD, we will have to see.

If Ngannou lands an uppercut on AJ, he can Reem him.

But if Josh lands an uppercut from Klitschko fight, Francis's head will hit the ceiling.

He probably would Overeem AJ but he wouldn't even need to, just dropping him would force him to shell up for multiple rounds and basically win him the fight.

But it's unlikely AJ would do big damage with a single uppercut, he's a cumulative guy.

And when has Ngannou ever been hurt in MMA? where he's taking elbows, knees, kicks and ground and pound...

The only time Ngannou looked in trouble in a fight was against Stipe due to lactic acid build up.

Well, you said he's more of a cumulative guy which is nonsense and demonstrably false, hence the question. He's one of the hardest punchers in the division.

You may as well call Wilder a cumulative puncher.

Don't think there's enough evidence to suggest Ngannou hits harder than Klitschko in the boxing ring yet, and AJ ate quite a few clean power shots from him.

Obviously Klitschko didn't put Fury down but then again, I don't remember him landing many clean punches either
