I don't want to see any more Smith brothers ever.

    Smith is a decent fighter

He'll retire though. Liam Smith said a few days ago that Callum will probably retire, win or lose.

I think Callum Smith is a decent fringe world level fighter. His best win was a one armed Groves that took that final fight for the money.

He lost to Ryder in most peoples eyes, which is probably about a true reflection of his level

Not everyone can be an A level fighter. There's no shame in being a level below that.

Let's be real, only Bivol and Beterbiev are top level fighters in that division. It's really not a division with much depth in terms of true world class fighters right now.

there's the 2 champs and then a gulf in class between them and the rest

The rest are fringe level guys and euro level.

I don't really have problems with anybody as long as they're matched appropriately. Mundo probably does fine against domestic rivals.

Callum wasn't just stopped, he was completely out boxed, he lost every single round. Beterbiev had pretty good defense tonight, he normally gets caught a bit more

This is part of the problem with having four sets of rankings. Smith only had two fights since Canelo but they were "eliminators" (i.e. WBC fees) and found himself mandatory in a new weight class. It's no coincidence that certain fighters get recycled by the same sanctioning body.

The Smith brothers have been good for UK boxing, have won a couple of world titles between them and been in some entertaining fights. My only issue with Callum was that he was in survival mode from the first round against Canelo, never fought like he believed he could win. It was a disappointing performance. He seemed a little more positive against Beterbiev but Artur was just too good and too strong for him.

I'd like to see him in there with Yarde, Buatsi, Azeez.
