Let’s not forget that Breidis is the same guy who couldn’t reach terms with Opetaia for their ordered rematch either.
Briedis' current/future/former titlists faced in 30 fights:
    Jai Opetaia
    Yuniel Dorticos
    Krzysztof Głowacki
    Noel Mikaelian
    Oleksandr Usyk
    Marco Huck

Ramirez current/future/former titlists faced in 45 fights:
    Joe Smith Jr
    Dmitrii Bivol
    Arthur Abraham

Ramirez has spent the majority of his career avoiding challenges.

Zurdo sucks. But this isn’t about his resume.

The point is they tried to reach a deal with Breidis, couldn’t come to terms with him just like Opetaia couldn’t, then they went with Goulamirian instead. That’s not a duck.

It's an excuse and a duck. They could have gone to a purse bid if they really wanted the Briedis fight. Instead he chose Goulamirian, who:
        1. Has only fought once since 2019 and not at all since 2022
        2. Has never actually faced another fighter that has won a legitimate world title in his career
        3. Got his title by winning an interim belt and then sitting on it until the Regular and Super champions both vacated

Was it an excuse when Opetaia vs Breidis II was ordered but Opetaia had to move on to fight Ellis Zorro instead?

Breidis hasn’t fought since 2022. Lol.

It’s very likely just a financial decision. Likely made by GPB also. Under the IBF rules, Breidis is entitled to 50% so they’re gonna have to pay him a hell of a lot more than Goulamirian

And Jack who himself hasn't fought in a year. We have a fked up cruiserweight division that sits next to another fked up division in Bridgerweight which will be known as the land of the misfits and should not even be a division. Hopefully Opetaia will clear up some of the sht.
Oh, dang I didn't know Arsen was that inactive, even less considering he has the belt hostage.

Zurdo the A side against everyone at Cruiserweight..

So why haggle over percentages, get a strap and then can negotiate without the IBF trying to force half

I wanna see Opetaia and Jack unify, they're the only good fighters at CW.

opetaia and jack can't unify because neither of them is a belt holder. jack vacated a long time ago and he intends to fight at bridgerweight.

while i'm not delighted to see arsen vs. zurdo at least this belt would get some activity.
