This is ridiculous. How are you comparing Usyk and AJ to pac and Marquez? The pac and Marquez matchups were highly controversial and their first 3 fights could’ve gone either way. They were on par with one another in the ring. Not the case with AJ and Usyk as AJ was comprehensively beaten both times.
How many times did Pacquiao beat marque before marquez ko'd him?
If AJ beats Ngannou, wins the IBF then he's earned a 3rd crack at Usyk, and if a confident AJ on a great run of form beats Usyk in a 3rd fight then it'll be a good win, it won't erase Usyk's 2 good wins.
Usyk got AJ when he was still recovering his confidence from the Ruiz beating. (which was far more dominant than either Usyk win tbh) but that's just how boxing goes, good timing.
Boxing is about form, tactics, momentum, and performance on the night, even if you beat a guy once or twice it doesn't mean you would always beat him every time, even at your best, it just means you beat him ON THAT Night. I belive Usyk beats AJ 60-70% of the time, the other 20-30% of the time AJ would win.
The excuse about recovering from the Ruiz loss is also absurd when Usyk faced AJ more than 2 yrs after the loss. How long does this mental midget need to recover from a loss? It’s not like he was Cotto after being beaten with plaster wraps. Just accept AJ wasn’t good enough to beat the much smaller man and there’s absolutely no reason for such a meaningless trilogy to even been up for discussion.

How many chances does AJ need? At least with Manny/JMM they were close fights with controversy. These were two fights that were not close at all, and the second one caused AJ to break his brain in front of the world.Comment

Those fights were two years apart FFS

Meh. Joshua was a heavy favorite against Usyk, but already lost twice clearly. he is younger than Usyk.
I see no point in trilogy. And one win wouldn`t just reset two losses, it would just mean that the father time got Usyk.
I believe Usyk retires after two Fury fights, win or lose. There is really no point in fighting anybody else.Comment

Clearly you're being sarcastic here but I guess you know better than a world class trainer and former world champion in Robert Garcia. You either know very little about the sport or your anti-AJ bias is so strong that you refuse to accept the reality that you're only as good as your last fight and in AJ's last fight he looked much better than post Ruiz 1.
If Dubois can drop Usyk with a body shot (yes that was a body shot, the ref was clearly on Usyk's side) so can AJ. I'm not saying it's going to happen but like Garcia said, it's a possibility he could beat Usyk if they ever have a third fight.Comment

And if not, maybe a fourth time, and if not then, SURELY the fifth time.

Usyk has only looked decent in beating Joshua , prior to that he looked average at best against Chaz Witherspoon who was brought in on two weeks notice and is not even a fringe contender and wasn't then. He then beat Chisora who lost for the tenth time and Derek pressed him hard. Usyk was a great cruiserweight but hasn't done anything at heavyweight yet to prove he's the real deal , DDD is ordinary . Joshua has only physical advantages over Uysk but has proved to be the lesser man already twice. The law of averages say if they fight often enough Joshua might win one , a twisted ankle is all he can hope for.Comment
