I think Tua is a bit overrated.
I watched the Byrd-Tua fight a couple of days ago. Tua's limitations were revealed by Byrd.
David Tua = Sam Peter. They look okay against clubfighters like Cameron and amd McGee, but when they go up to the world-class opponents their limitations come to light.Comment

I'll agree that Tua is a bit overrated but to call him Sam Peter is ignorant. Sam Peter never stopped John Ruiz in 19 sec, Peter never stopped former lineal champions Hasim Rahman and Michael Moorer, Peter didn't go toe to toe with who would've been this decade's champ had he not been crazy as fuck in Ike Ibeabuchi. Peter has never fought for the world championship like Tua did against Lennox Lewis. Their styles are not similar nor have their careers.I think Tua is a bit overrated.

Tyson prime beats anyone of the last 20 years. I would of loved to see him smash Bitchkos within 1 round.Comment

The beatdown that Tua received from Lewis is similar to the one Peter received from Vitali. The schooling that he received from Byrd was also a bit like the boxing lesson Vitali gave Peter...I'll agree that Tua is a bit overrated but to call him Sam Peter is ignorant. You are overrating Ibeabuchi, he was never in against anybody really good except Byrd, who did well in round one but then made the mistake of staying on the ropes and exchanging punches with the slower Ike. Byrd learned from that fight and fought more cautiously afterwards.
As for stopping Hasim Rahman, Rahman was stopped by Oleg Maskaev twice, and Oleg was never really a world-class heavyweight. And John Ruiz changed his style to holding a lot after that KO loss to Tua.Comment

Pretty hard to disagree with this list. Holyfield so high may be the only draw back but he has fought so many good opponents that loosing is absolutely inevitable.Comment
