Sure, but being "atypical" suggests it was noteworthy enough for VADA to report it. One need not take an absolute position between it being (1) nothing or (2) evidence of PED use.
What one should do - in my opinion - is put aside one's allegiances and demand better governance of the sport so we don't have to rely on a self-interested businessman like Eddie Hearn to report this stuff.
Or join the "everyone's at it" brigade, turn a blind eye to it, and support Conor Benn, presumably.
We also need clarity on how these VADA tests are conducted and what the threshhold for "atypical" and "adverse" means. When do they cross over? Also, what is the reference point?
You could test the same person months apart and their blood levels could be "atypical" on the second test.
We need clarity.Comment

ShoulderRoll goes as far as to say Canelo is "likely clean" because he passed some VADA tests after testing positive twice for PEDs.
At the same time says Francis Ngannou is "assuredly on PEDs" because of his physique. Despite the fact Ngannou has been in a 24/7 365 USADA program for a decade and has never failed a test and has also passed a VADA test.
The levels of ******ity are so high you'd think it's satire.

I do. A subset of boxing fans is irrational when it comes to Hearn. I don't particularly like the guy, he's pretty dull when you strip away the bluster. But I think he stirs a lot envy in some men, it's the only way to explain the level of anger and bitterness he evokes.
In case it need be said, that's not to say he shouldn't be criticised. But he's just a symptom of boxing's problems at the end of the day.Comment

Doesn't mean anything...
If your 5alpha-DHT is increased this would be an indication that you are favoring the alpha pathway that’s quite aggressive on your skin, hair and other places. The reasons for your body choosing the alpha pathway can certainly be genetic, but it is often due to inflammation, blood sugar / insulin dysregulation, having extra adipose tissue, etc.. If you can address these underlying issues then your body will balance out the alpha and beta pathways and it will improve the symptoms.
