Wilder looked awful because that's what he is. Very limited fighter, with a decent right hand that has been overblown by the media and the false illusions created by a lot of set up fights against PBC patsies. Wilder is a fraud and always was a fraud. His spirit is dead, he's had enough of being a phony scripted pretender. He's at the end of his fraud career and had to fight for real this time to get the Saudi payday, and guess what, he showed he can't fight against a real fighter. Wilder failed. The whole scam would have worked if he could have beaten Fury but those losses ended the charade.

He has a jab, u gotta give him that at least, this was my view of him before the Ortiz and fury fights but u can't sit there and say he only has a right hand at this point, his jab in the second fight against Stiverne looked as good as my heavyweight in the last decade

I thought Wilder's ringwalk costume drained his legs, that crown looked heavy.

That and the Maori voodoo hex Joseph Parker put on him. Not to mention Parker loading his gloves with fists.

It's time the authorities started checking fighters gloves and allowing someone from the opposing fighters team to watch the handwraps.

Yep no chance.

He does need a new trainer though. Scott has tried to improve him and made him worse.

There is no way Stiverne or Ortiz came to win, they both were hired patsies, PBC employees. No chance on earth Haymon was going to let his meal ticket lose to a 50 year old Cuban and a 38 yr old Haitian, both of whom were totally unmarketable. Cmon brother, think. Of course Wilder looked somewhat average against two punching bags. But every time he was in with a real opponent - Fury and Parker - we saw his true level. Everything else was a set up.

Lennox Lewis is right on the mark. For those who can actually think for themselves and are not easily swayed by false narratives and blatant (obvious) lies, Lennox Lewis's views were confirmed by Wilder in Wilder's latest interview: his timing was off, he lost his killer instinct and he believes he'll eventually get it back. However, the BUSINESS of boxing prevented him from being active most of last year and the Saudi event was an opportunity he couldn't pass up, knowing that he needed a full training camp to get his timing back, but still open to the challenge of fighting someone who WAS very active.

I dont think theres any guarantee Wilder would have beaten Parker 5 years ago either. Its not like Parker is incredible or anything but he is a top 3 career opponent for Wilder and has always had the durability, skill and speed to cause any version of Wilder problems.

Right. Wilder would have lost to Parker five years ago also. Haymon and Finkel knew that too, that's why they made no attempt to unify with Parker when he had the WBO belt. Instead they picked another PBC patsy.
