Comments Thread For: Hearn: If Joshua Demolishes Two People Fury Struggled With, People Start To Believe AJ Can Beat Fury

A resurgent Anthony Joshua has high hopes for 2024. After impressively beating Otto Wallin in December, the two- time unified heavyweight champion probably thought he would spend the first few weeks of the year preparing for a shootout with Deontay Wilder. Instead, Joshua is about to begin training for an equally explosive contest with former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou.

both carved out of stone, both punching like mules
That phrasing is pretty bad. I hope he says it differently next time.

You know what, slated him plenty for basic errors in form, but we don’t actually know how good Joshua is thinking about it.

He got done by a guy he should’ve beaten if he was at the races, but he’s also been done twice by someone I consider a generational great.

Beyond that, he’s beat loads of old men, sure; but microscope gotta fall on the sanctioning bodies that had these guys highly ranked in the first place.

There isn’t really a lot out there in the HW division to go on

Nah, they will say Fury under prepared, had an off night, etc etc. Recent history proves that idiots don't learn a thing when facts stare them in the face. This will be no different.

It's sad how AJ went from being arguably the best in the World, to his team constantly having to namedrop Fury all the time. It seems like Hearn is always looking for the next big payday and beef, and it makes AJ look bad. AJ himself is a likeable chap, it's Hearn who draws the heat. AJ should tell Hearn to stfu and just say "no comment" when it comes to him.

And if Fury knocks out the man who schooled AJ twice, what will everyone think then?

I've always said that Joshua has the best chance of beating Fury. Fury is not the best heavy, Usyk is and Fury is very good but more importantly he's too damn big! AJ has the size and strength like Francis but more boxing skils..

I don't think even if Fury beats Uysk and Ngannou beats Joshua that Hearn would think any different .It's pointless to listen to him........period.
