Bill Haney LOUDLY talks over others as he repeats himself over and over and over until he drowns out the question and then steers the conversation to where he wants it to be.

Not sure why the haney are pushing their religion so strongly all of a sudden. Personally I think it’s because they are trying to tap into that saudi money and get offers due to their shared religion. It’s really the only thing that makes sense. You don’t hear any other fighters pushing their religion so hard it’s weird as hell

‘We get down where we get mad at’: Bill Haney gets into confrontation with Bernard Hopkins
Bill Haney and Bernard Hopkins shared a small exchange over the weekend, highlighting some underlying tension.
        By Wil Esco@wil_esco Jan 8, 2024, 12:54pm EST

Bill Haney spent some time talking to Fight Hub TV about the situation between his son and Ryan Garcia, with Garcia apparently changing his mind and instead pursuing a fight with Rolando Romero

“We don’t what’s going to happen with Ryan,” Haney said. “We know he raised his hand, I thought I had respect for him. Maybe he’s not what they say ‘La Raza.’ Is he respresenting La Raza or not?”

At that time Golden Boy promoter Bernard Hopkins pulled up on Bill, inviting him for a private conversation (or perhaps not so much talking) to take place in the back.

“Let’s go to the bathroom. I want to talk to you in the bathroom for a minute,” Hopkins would say to Haney.”

Bill Haney would stand his ground and tell Hopkins that whatever he wants to talk about, they could do it right where they were standing.

“I don’t know if he been in jail too long, but we get down where we get mad at,” Haney would say.

Moments later there would be a little dust up with Hopkins with a little pushing and shoving, none of which particularly phased Bill Haney.

“A bunch of pushing and shoving...if it was real, it would be on the battlefield.

“B-Hop, did B-Hop tell me to follow him? He said go to the bathroom like be bully on everyone else. When I follow him to the bathroom what he do? He went the other way.”

The story behind the story....Devin Haney's last fight was rumored to be a 30k PPV financial bust . Unfortunately Bill Haney doesn't get it, he thinks Devin is the A side but nobody seems to want to stink one out for bus fare.

Bill goes after Ryan Garcia (Golden-boy aka Bernard Hopkins) because Garcia is a draw. With the help for Floyd, he decided to go after Rolly because Rolly has a belt and Ryan can always circle back in a better position to negotiate. It's a smart move.

Bill Haney is about as religious as Don King, it's a transparent marketing move for Saudi money. It's all technique, he's whatever he needs to be to get what he wants, a vacuum-cleaner salesman

Facts, Bill Haney is delusional! He's overvaluing the belts! People don't come to see belts, they come to see fights! Richardson Hitchins will not sell, Gary Antuanne Russell will not sell (although I would pay for it) etc. Ryan would've been a BIG event!!! Ryan fighting Rolly is a win-win for Floyd, because if Ryan gets that belt @ 140, I bet Tank gives Ryan a rematch @ 140!

We should all now become casuals is what you mean and just demand for fights that sell. Everyone in the division should go after Ryan now. Let them wait for their turn and be inactive as turtles in a shell. Okay... Subriel Matias is doomed.

The Haneys are about as religious as I am or as legit as Millers "reversion" to Islam, that is to say not at all.

They're using it to rile up a certain fan base and in hopes of getting to the Saudi bag, I don't blame them but it's not something you should take seriously.

What I'm saying is, a belt doesn't help in your negotiations, when you're selling under 100K in PPVs. You're asking the public to "PAY" to see you fight! "WHO" you fight matters! So Haney can't get Tank, because Dad has beef with Floyd! He can't get a fight with Teo, because Dad has beef with Teo Sr.! Now he can't get a fight with Ryan, because Dad has beef with B-Hop! It's not a good look! Teo vs. Subriel Matias in June, for PR Parade, still might happen! Let Us Pray!

They have been ****** since before the “Saudi money” (who paid Bivol less then Canelo did) came along.

Devin has frequently talked about scheduling fights before or after Ramadan, going back to Lomachenko and even earlier.
