Beterbiev is going to run him over. he dont have the heart to survive beterbiev. Beterbiev is "heavy handed", he has power in every punch, with both hands, at all distances. Its a break you down power not a one punch snapping power. there isnt just any one punch for smith to avoid, he will have to eat some of them and he dont have the heart for it. first few partially landed shots he will feel that he is with another planet of fighter and he isnt going to want to go there, he will try to survive but beterbiev is good at cutting the ring off and will knock his ass out.

Went like it thought I would, although mine was what the majority were predicting. Only thing that could have really happened would be if Beterbiev got old overnight. Callum is just not elite, they were overhyping his supposed power, he barely eeked by John Ryder and fight week they were hyping up his win over george groves from 5.5 years ago and when that is your best hype material you know you are in trouble.

Beterbiev looked as good as he can for his age. His reflexes were fine and he showed better defense this fight than I remember in the past, he outboxed and outlanded Smith, his distance control and foot work was great.

We still really need the Bivol fight, hes the only guy that could beat beterbiev, its close to 50-50, I favor beterbiev just a bit more. It comes down to can Bivol use his handspeed advantage and his faster feet to stay in and out of range and his higher work rate win the fight, he will have to win it round by round and stack up the points. Beterbiev is so great at cutting off the ring, that is why I favor him

Smith really was a letdown, and for the same reason as in in the Canelo fight. Dude just won't let his frigging hands go from the outside. WTF is the point of having a good outside jab with all that reach if you don't USE IT.

His fight IQ is clearly not on the top level.
