Comments Thread For: Errol Spence Shuts Down Retirement Talk: 'Yeah I Got My Ass Beat, **** Was Past Due, I Didn't Have Boxer Lifestyle'

Errol Spence Jr. ended his social media hiatus on Monday by sharing a series of posts and developments. After Spence posted a video on Instagram announcing he had cataract surgery, the former unified welterweight champion took to X (formerly Twitter) for the first time since August to further address his first career loss to Terence Crawford on July 29.

At the end, criticized the transgender decision. Totally out of left field.

He's never fighting Crawford again. Who TF are they kidding? Might as well let Bud go smash Boots and get his old belt back.

Only a real dude would admit he got his @$$ beat like that. Regardless of all the other stuff said, gotta give him credit for that. Most dudes would act and talk like they ain't ever lost a fight in their life. Hope he gets all his personal stuff cleared up and he can step back into the ring. One of the few guys whose never in a boring fight.

Good for Spence. He will bring some great fights at 154. Looking forward to his return. The Truth is back

Honestly thought the crash would've been all the wake-up call he needed to change up that lifestyle.

Errol, I'm glad to hear you're wanting to turn your life around and get your career going again, but Bud is the last. person. on earth. you should start with.

spence should've not pulled out like a bish against pacquiao. his belts would be worth more in the hands of pacquiao than this sorry excuse for nothin drunk

at least then bud would've been able to get pacquiap's atg scalp, no excuse from the man. a proper passing of the torch no controversy

                it is what it is

Actually he has pretty much given Crawford credit since the end of the fight. It's more Crawford haters with the nonsense.

As far as fights, Crawford should fight Tim. Ortiz is up there now and time for Ennis to move. 154 as usual is where the fights are and the guys are willing to fight unless Ennis isn't willing to fight.

                    Nice post.

If he's not looking to retire, Spence might be better off taking a couple of fights at 154 before looking for Crawford again.
