Floyd Mayweather Jr is totally not comparable to Zhang. Floyd perfected his craft in the pro. In this case AJ has greatly developed his craft while Zhang's style is still the same, if anything has changed since the amateur it's his weight.

It is odd though when you check their records and they seem to say the opposite...

I personally believe that Zhang would knock out Joshua. What they have been doing with Joshua is feeding him tomato cans to get back his confidence before throwing him in with a more credible fighter. With the way that Wilder looked in his last fight, I would consider him a tomato can at this point. Zhang is too high risk for Joshua. They need to find someone low risk for Joshua but with enough credibility to make him look better. Wilder is that guy.

It's a fight I'd like to see and Zhang does have the tools to win. At the same time, it depends which Zhang turns up. There are versions of Zhang I've seen that would get outclassed by Joshua.

Realistically, Zhang must acknowledge he isn't the most attractive option for Joshua -- but I would far sooner see Joshua vs Zhang than the Ngannou thing we are being served instead.
