I would not rush Vergil based on a fight with Lawson, who may have been damaged goods! I would put him in with Terrell Gausha, Charles Conwell, or maybe even Jesus Ramos, then a title shot, if he wins in good fashion!

don't waste your breath calling out a guy who's been waiting on a vacant title fight for years. chuck him in the same column as Ennis.

Ortiz is making the same mistake as Wilder:
1 round against a no hope opponent in 12+ months.
But Ortiz has missed out on so much that I don't blame him for chasing a better name.
        Tszyu is highly underrated.
        That man can fight.
It is apparent that he trains year round & unlike Chavez Jr, he wants to continue the legacy of his father's name in good standing.

There's a reason you're in the minority, it makes no sense that Ortiz could/would be a problem for Tszyu. At best I can see Ortiz being competitive for 2 or 3 rounds then Tszyu will take him apart and probably knock him out by round 6 or 7.

I really hope Tszyu vs Mell happens soon, I can see Tszyu winning the fight but he won't knock him out. So was Mell cleared of charges? A lot of people really weighed in on it, saying he was a disgusting, coward etc.

Nah, Tszyu has too much game for Ortiz, he's too good. Power only gets you so far, Tszyu has very sound defence despite what casuals say and Ortiz has very suspect defence. Plus Ortiz has only fought tomato cans whereas Tszyu has fought quite a few very tough opponents and he beat them easily.

Perhaps you haven't been paying attention but Tim and his promoters are keen as mustard for the fight, calling on Golden Girl Boxing to give them a call. Tszyu and his team aren't even slightly concerned about underdone, overrated Ortiz.

Bruh Tszyu has fought the best available opponents, he couldn't have done any more over the last 5 years to prove he's ready to be undisputed champ. He'd already be undisputed if Charlo didn't keep ducking. Ortiz will be an easy fight for Tszyu, Ortiz would struggle with the 154 gatekeepers.
