Hopkins shoved Bill Haney last night ringside

I don't see it that way. Devin needs all the promo and buzz he can get because the establishment favors Tank, Garcia, Stevenson. Bill does an excellent job, well spoken, intelligent, classy guy, in a sense he's like Bundini Brown for Ali or Emanuel Steward for Lennox and Wladimir. Excellent spokesman. Devin needs it because he's kind of lowkey and not a motormouth knucklehead. Great respect for the Haney's theyre class and boxing needs that now.

Bill Haney is none of those things. he’s a clown.

Did you see that video of Bernard Hopkins shoving/assaulting Bill Haney last night at ringside? Very surprising to see Hopkins react like that with such anger and frustration. This would indicate the Haney's constant chattering in the media is seriously devaluing their prize asset Ryan Garcia for ducking Devon Haney. Bill should sue Hopkins for assault and battery.

Hopkins was a very good fighter. He is and always shall be an X con from Philly so ...

Hopkins was much better than a very good fighter, he's one of the greatest of all time. Absolutely insane career and longevity. It's shocking that Bill Haney of all people is the only one to ever manage to ruffle his feathers. Even Larry Merchant's provocative interview questions and nagging provoked the best responses out of Hopkins. But Haney made Hopkins lose his cool and react like a child. Incredible stuff by Haney.

I don't know but I would imagine that any negotiations involving Bill Haney would be a nightmare. Pulling out and pursuing another avenue ain't necessarily a duck. Might even be a smart move
