Exactly! People seem to forget that most fighters under PBC are free agents and not signed to Haymon. They could leave and go to GB whenever they want. The problem is they don't want to. They've seen how Oscar treated Canelo and how Ryan hates his guts. Also Stantionis just had a terrible experience with Oscar and advised everyone to no deal with them. Prime schedule will be announced soon and rumors are the 2nd network will be announced by February.

It seems Floyd and Haymon are steering Garcia to a big money rematch with Tank, as Tank is going to keep ducking Haney, Stevenson, Teofimo and Loma.

They obviously can afford this. Nevada gives incentives to build too

You don't need to have a major attraction to fill a 3k venue. You probably need an attraction to FUND the building of a 3k venue tho, but ODLH has already made the money to build this venue so it'll just take a few yrs to get his money back on it I'd assume.

He can also rent it out to other promoters to make money too. I'm surprised more major promoters haven't done this. Lessens the $ needed to build up guys on the way up & allows you to not be hindered by other venues being booked so you can schedule guys more often.

Dude just picked up indie ranked top ten guys JLR & Barboza.

I'm all for dogging ODLH when he does many of the dumb ass things he's done, but outside of the weirdness with Ryan in the past I think ODLH is making more good moves than bad moves lately. This building of a private venue is a good move 100% & has many upsides for them.

Does anyone find this coincidental that Oscar / GBP wasn't doing that good just a year ago and then the big PPV with Showtime where Ryan (and Oscar) banked over 30 milly for that fight and now he buys a big mansion (and it us beautiful I can't hate there) overlooking the Vegas strip, is building a 3k seat personal venue and is all of a sudden signing decent fighters which he hasn't done in years? Coincidence? I think not! The Dazn deal is bad for his business. He needs to make amends with Al and get an Amazon deal to get back to that PPV lifestyle that he was accustomed to in his day. C'mon Oscar, Holly's **** ain't gonna stay perky forever!

LOL. I hadn't connected the dots with that, but yea I could see that. Oftentimes from my understanding the promoter who lets his fighter go fight under another promoter gets a % (usually 25% to 33% I believe) of the boxers money. So its possible that if Ryan got $30M as reported, ODLH got $7.5M-$10M of that purse.

I'm telling you man I think the stars are aligning for us US boxing fans. Al does a deal with Amazon and is reported to have a second network with a minimum 30 fight dates and a max of 48. TR has raved about the Amazon deal with Monster over in Japan and how he wishes they would replicate that in the US (yes I heard about the Endeavor rumors). Oscar finally realizes that when (not if) he loses Ryan to PBC then the writing is on the wall at Dazn. He needs to make his move now to Amazon. Virgil needs big money fights at 154 with Jermell, Tim Kudzoo, Bud, Earl, towering inferno, Lubin and more. Mungia needs Jermall and all the P C fighters 160-168. Floyd Schofield needs Tank, Pitbull, Frank Martin, De Los Santos, El Rayo and I'm sure Shakur will be with PBC before summer '25. It's now or never Oscar. Before the year is out we could possibly have PBC, TR and GBP on Amazon Prime. GOD WILLING!

If you're implying he was broke, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. Foo has a dope @ss house in LA, actually a few if em. Heard he has a nice one in Texas a d now in Vegas too. Majority of these promoters have investors too. Yeah cRyan brought in money but he didn't make dlh by any means. Dlh did that himself. Accountants handled his $. Pretty common sense.

I'm all for calling his weird sh.it out but trying to downplay his biz acumen is funny

I never once called Oscar broke I am aware of the fact that he is a very shrewd real estate guy and his personal wealth is intact. I'm referring to his business. You do know his personal finances are completely separate from his business finances. I'm implying that his business is doing a lot better after that very successful PPV on Showtime. C'mon Mr Mero I'm extending an olive branch because I can see over the horizon that Al Bob and Oscar are about to save American boxing!
