"I think both sides want the fight. But I think Devin’s size is an issue"
Then both sides dont want the fight lol, there can be no Buts
haney couldnt even hurt little loma, so many excuses for tank at times
haney was undisputed at 135 and tank didnt want the fight, let that sink in for the prospects of it happening in the future

To say that he doesn't choose who he faces is true.....his team and promoters have kept him away from real danger for his entire career. As the whole argument is that Ennis is the next megastar.....Bud stops both Karen and Villa, and likely early. Ennis KO'd cans and is called a killer. Crawford has been KO'ing top 10 guys over and over and people criticize his resume. Lol. Makes zero sense. Bud has the power to hurt good fighters with one shot. He has a far better ring IQ than Ennis. He is just obviously alot better IMO.
That said, I hope to see Ennis finally KO a few top quality guys and unify divisions, certainly. He is a talented charismatic fighter and the sport badly needs that right now. As I said in another thread, his team is protecting him from the top guys to keep the dream alive. If he gets clipped and stopped, his value plummets, which is wrong, but in this post Floyd era, an undefeated fighter is "the best".
Also, I think Biev smashes Smith without much problem and then, yep, loses half the fight to Bivol before clocking him and stopping him. The caveat being he could get old overnight. But if he stil at 80% of what he has been, he is too strong and a machine.
Crawford and Spence. Spence and Crawford. Those two have been holding the belts forever now. He wasn’t pulled away from those guys. Boots wanted those fights.
Stany-o guy. I can’t even spell his name. Sure, boots could fight him. And he’s a likely option in the next fight or three. But he’s not amazing. If boots wins that, the narrative won’t change from the haters.
Thurman? Maybe a quality “name”. But when boots destroys him it’ll be “oh he’s too old”.
Barrios? Sure he’s no legend. But he’s the one of the best names at welterweight now outside Crawford and Spence.
Long story short, with the current state of 147, no matter what name I wrote down, no matter who boots signs to fight, the internet hate and public opinion won’t change. ESPECIALLY if he looks dominant in beating any and every name I mentioned.
personally I feel like every fighter I named, deserves MORE credit and recognition. Rather than all of them being looked at as “nobody’s”. It’s hard to reach that level of talent and rank. No matter what we think as fans

This … “Boots did not have the power to stop him, it was an accumulation stoppage.“
A stoppage is a stoppage. Not every boxer has kryponite power. Floyd lacks power but he makes up for it in skills
