As shot as Wilder looks, I think this is a better style for him than Parker.

If Wilder has any ability to pull the trigger anymore, he's going to find it much easier to do vs Zhang who is pretty flat footed and slow footed. Wilder's best attributes were closing the range fast vs static targets and landing a quick right hand. Plus the straight right is the best shot vs a Southpaw.

With all that said, he looks pretty much gun shy anyway.

If you hear Wilder talk in some interviews he has no fire. IMO if a fighter is thinking about retirement his mind is out of boxing.
