Spence who kept us waiting on the aforementioned rematch and kept Bud inactive while he had surgery. Probably Spence who will tie Bud up with lawsuits trying to keep his ****** rematch if it in fact expired in Dec.

My main issue is that I never felt Spence was P4P. People pretend he's some great win, but I didn't see it before the fight, I didn't see it during the fight, and I don't see it now. He's a good win but he was only P4P because he's in welterweight. Put him up against a 147lb Chocolatito and he'll get battered from pillar to post. That's what P4P means. Skill for skill, who's the best.

Anyways, cong**** to Inoue. Well deserved. I have him as FOTY and tied with Bud for P4P #1. If they were in the same division, that would be an insane fight.

Yes, I don't think people understand pfp. I think spence was considered pfp, because people thought a fight between spence and bud was a toss up who'd win, you pays your money you takes your choice type fight. And because bud is pf p they thought spence must be too, considering he might best bud? But not taking into consideration bud moved up 3 divisions already.
If spence was a pf p fighter he'd be favourite to best bud at 147
I broke down Spence's style in other threads, but yeah, he was never P4P. He lacks a lot of elite skills. Felt the same way about Demetrius Andrade. I'm even not sure about Benavidez, which I'm sure will get me some hate. I want to see him at 175 or even 200 to see how much is skill and how much is size and weight bullying. He's really good at a few things though. I feel like if he really felt like he's elite, he'd be calling out the winner of Beterbiev v Bivol. Will be curious to see if either David is willing to set themselves up for that shot.

One thing I'm curious about and waiting to see how it plays out is that TC went for the WBO belt. And the WBO belt has unique benefits for someone who wants to prove themselves by climbing the divisions, since they're better about following their own rules than the WBA/C and getting their belt entitles the belt holder to a shot at the belt a division up. That's Tszyu, who looks like the man in the division in the absence of Mell. I wonder what all the Ennis fans aka Crawford haters will say if Crawford takes on that challenge.

That's one of the things that Inoue clearly has over Crawford. When he moves up, he takes on the best guys in the division immediately. No screwing about with tuneups and settling into the division for Inoue.

For those fans of lineal belts, btw, when Inoue moved up to 118, he took on Jamie McDonnell, who was #2 Ring at the time of the fight. The Ring champ was Shinsuke Yamanaka, who lost to Luis Nery with the associated PEDs and coming in overweight. So beating Nery is really finishing up some old business in so many ways.

Spence was a fat lazy bum. Damaged goods and badly drained on the night against Bud. Spence was NEVER elite, a boogeyman, or even really Pound 4 Pound.

        Inoue >>> Crawford

        FOH.

LOL......goofy.....None of y'all were saying that before July 29th...... The notion if Crawford doesn't fight him, then his legacy is tarnished for never fighting a great fighter..... All this hindsight ignorance you chanting really means nothing at the end of the day.

Your goofy ass know nothing about Inoue's opponents without googling their work. You sound ****** arguing Inoue over Crawford.....especially since I have yet to say that Inoue doesn't deserve fighter of the year...... If your silly ass actually read the conversation before begging for attention via an argument, you would have seen that I'm for Inoue as much as I am for Crawford. ****** a$$
